Alexander Poltorak founded General Patent Corporation and serves as the company’s Chairman and CEO. Prior to the establishment of GPC in 1987, Dr. Poltorak was CEO of Rapitech Systems, Inc., a computer technology company he founded in 1983 and took public in 1986. Alex Poltorak is also the founder and President of American Innovators for Patent Reform (AIPR), a non-profit association that promotes American innovation through stronger patents and vigorous patent enforcement. Alex Poltorak is also a Certified Licensing Professional, and he was included in the 2010 IAM Strategy 250, a list of the world's leading IP strategists compiled by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine.
Alec Schibanoff, GPC’s Vice President of Marketing, is responsible for marketing for all the businesses in the GPC Group of Companies. Mr. Schibanoff’s career includes management positions at LawMax Legal Finance, Kaplan Test Prep (a unit of The Washington Post Company), and Brother International Corporation.
Kathlene Ingham is General Patent’s Director of Licensing and she is the person most business owners and executives initially communicate with when they initially contact GPC about a patent infringement issue. Ms. Ingham has successfully negotiated over 100 patent licenses for General Patent business clients. Before joining GPC, she held management and consulting positions in the legal profession and hotel industry.
